In a place of self, in a space of else, Buddy found solace in an almost being.
I learned how to 3D model while working at the Texas Advanced Computing Center, where I recreated realistic renders of environments and characters for VR environments.
More recently I am modeling low-poly characters and environments for my own video game. 3D modeling is my favorite step in game development 😌

What would an objective reality look like if we saw objects as words?
I carve sculptures with a CNC router (X-Carve). The pieces are like large puzzles assembled from smaller wooden pieces. The Fig video below shows the build-process.

Unflappable Bird was not always so steadfast. She dived for seeds and soared to grounds high. The the sky she flew from the depths she knew. Yet here she returns one winter more. All hail our nightfall, her royal guide in shadow!
Pamela
Pamela is a meditative spiderweb weaving robot marking time’s slow passage on the window. Her lone fang (a punch-needle) sews a generative pattern on a sheer curtain that she traverses with magnetic wheels. She’s top heavy currently but is receiving a promising redesign 🕷
